Prasann Patel
Prasann Patel is an Executive director of Core Investments Group. He qualified as Master of Commerce with Honours from University of Auckland, New Zealand. Prasann is a member of the Institute of Chartered accountants of New Zealand. He has extensive experience in various business sectors, including Financial and Treasury Services, Media, Telecommunications and Manufacturing. Prasann sits on the Board of major companies within the JRP Group.
Jayesh J Patel
Jayesh Patel is a Director of Core Investments Group and an Executive Director of one of Fiji’s largest publicly listed companies – RB Patel Group. He has significant marketing and retailing experience in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Jayesh is a Graduate of University of Auckland, New Zealand where he holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He is also a Fellow Associate of the New Zealand Institute of Management and sits on the Board of the major companies within the JRP Group.
Surendra Patel
Surendra K Patel is a highly successful businessman with significant experience in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. He is Director of Core Investments Group and is a graduate of University of Auckland, New Zealand where he holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He has extensive experience in retail, import & export, distribution & logistics and commercial property and development. Surendra is an executive Director of RB Patel Group and sits on the major companies within the SRP Group.
Grant Dunn
Grant Dunn is Core’s Legal Counsel and a Partner in the corporate and commercial team at Buddle Findlay, New Zealand’s prominent legal firm. He previously spent 6 years with the London office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, a leading US law firm internationally recognised for its mergers and acquisitions and private equity practice.
Grant has broad experience in leveraged cross-border mergers and acquisitions, public takeovers, joint ventures and consortium arrangements, stock exchange compliance, corporate governance matters, management buyouts, restructurings and securities offerings. He has a particular focus on private equity and venture capital, having acted for some well known US and UK based VC and LBO funds such as HM Capital Partners (formerly Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst), CSFB Private Equity, GE Capital, PAI Management, Blackstone Group, Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity and Capital Z Partners, on their limited partnership formation, fund raising, portfolio company acquisitions, financings, ongoing investment and exits in the TMT, biotechnology, food and beverage, healthcare, energy, real estate, forestry, infrastructure, insurance and financial services sectors.
